- drawing with one point perspective
- using historical memorabilia to create a themed page

- watercolor paper/sketchbook
- pencil
- ruler
- watercolor paint palette
- watercolor pencils
- various sized brushes
- thin gray felt tip pen
- print out memorabilia provided below
- scissor
- glue stick

Step no. 1
- follow tutorial for instruction on how to draw the soldier and trench using one point perspective.
STep no.2
- watercolor drawing using watercolor paint and watercolor pencils
- see video for a demonstration
Step no.3
- trace original pencil lines in thin gray felt tip pen

Step no.4
- print out WWI postcard (image of an actual postcard from WWI …. I used photoshop to remove the text so we could write our history info on it)
- print out WWI poster (you might need to scale it down on your print setting) …. a nod to our inspiration for this page from the book “Knit Your Bit”



Step no.5
- write history info on postcard using a thin gray felt tip pen
- cut out and glue postcard and poster on page
