


DESIGN SKILLS TO LEARN:
- mixed medium: artwork where one or more medium or material has been used (this project combines watercolor, pages of text, and stamps)
- drawing with a circle as a starting point
- using watercolor pencils
MATERIALS: (SEE ART TOOLS IN MENU FOR DETAILS + LINKS)
- watercolor sketchbook or watercolor paper
- pencil
- circle punch (other option: trace a circle from a household item and cut with scissors)
- black and white copies of genesis 1
- watercolor pencils (other option: watercolor pan)
- glue stick
- thin felt tip pen
- rubber stamp numbers and letters (other options: stencils or marker)
- black ink pad
step no.1

- make a circle template by punching or cutting out a circle from heavy paper such as left over watercolor paper
- use the template to draw what God created on each day of creation…. see how many things you can draw that start with a circle
step no.2
- use watercolor pencils to paint …. we love watercolor pencils!!!!

STEP NO.3
- after the watercolor dries glue on genesis 1 circles with glue stick
- draw details on genesis 1 circles with a thin felt tip pen
- trace drawing with a felt tip pen to make it “pop”

- stamp days of creation numbers and creation title
