cc cycle 1.week 20.history.mexican revolution

At CC we wrapped up our art history study with El Greco. His elongated art inspired our unusually long portraits of Pancho Villa + Emiliano Zapapta. We hope you have as much fun drawing them as we did!

STEP NO.4: ASSEMBLING AND LETTERING

  • adhere portraits in sketchbook with double face tape
  • write history sentence NOTE: part of the history sentence is left out in order to stay clear of copyright infringement.
  • number stamps and a black ink pad for the date
  • embossing marker for the gold names …. a fun new tool to our family. see demo and art tools in the menu. note: the ink dries very fast on the watercolor paper. I was only able to do one letter at a time before it dried and the embossing powder would no longer adhere.
  • outline the gold embossing in black marker to make it pop.
