cc cycle 1.science wk 17.parts of a volcano

The girls and I went to a demo at Blick and bought some really fun inks that we used for our backgrounds.
This project can also be done with basic poster paint. It won’t look glossy, but it’s still fun and super cool if you don’t want to invest in more art supplies.

We did two short videos to demonstrate both options.
We’re having fun over here!

MATERIALS:

  • pinata inks (or see option no.2 below with tempera paint)
  • extender
  • straws
  • black paper
  • white colored pencils
  • scissors
  • glue stick
  • double stick tape
  • poster board

option no.1
