design skills to learn
study the renaissance masters’ work by creating an art gallery story ….
…..i was the most excited about the opportunities for this sketchbook page, but when it came down to designing it i really struggled because i found my drawings didn’t capture what i wanted the kids to see in leonardo da vinci’s amazing sketches …. that’s when this fun little children’s book without any words inspired me to design a gallery for the maters’ art…. this way our students can really examine renaissance art. we had a great time talking about things we knew about the masters for our stories and creating our gallery scene. I hope your families have a fun time with this!
